He has 34 years of Medical experience in treating patients with a wide spectrum of diseases. He did his M.B.B.S from the prestigious Armed Force Medical College (AFMC) Pune, MD in Internal Medicine from Delhi University and Fellowship in Clinical Hematology and BMT from AIIMS, New Delhi.
He has worked in the premier hospitals of Armed Forces like AFMC , Army hospital (R&R) New Delhi and is now Senior Consultant and HOD of Clinical Haematology and Blood and Marrow Transplant at Sir Gangaram Hospital New Delhi.
He has treated a wide range of patients having blood diseases both Benign as well as Blood Cancers , Lymphomas, Myelomas and done more than 300 Bone Marrow Transplants. His main field of interests are treating all Blood Cancers,Anaemias,Lymphomas,Myelomas,Platelet Disorders,MDS and Bone Marrow Transplants.
Being From the Armed Forces, he attempts to ensure ethical,honest standard of his care of the patients. His team ensures meticulous record of the disease both in digital as well hard copy and is available 24*7 to the patients.
During this period, He conducted more than 305 Bone Marrow Transplants.He has keen interests in the diagnosis,evaluation and treatment of Haemato-oncology, Pediatric cancers and Bone Marrow Transplants. He has rich experience in Immunotherapy, and Targeted Cancer therapy.
Dr(Col) Jasjit Singh is dedicated to promoting research and the advancement of treatment in the field of oncology. He has been involved in various oncology trials.
He is a keen participant and organiser of Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Meets attended by Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, and Allied Specialty Clinicians. He also actively participates and speaks at national and international meetings.
His principal motivation is to perform more clinical and research work in Solid Oncology, Hemato-oncology, and work on pharmaco-economics in Oncology while growing along with the organisation’s goal and work ethics.

Professional Work Experience
• Commissioned in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) of the Indian Army in June 1988 and did internship in the busiest Hospital of the Armed Forcesie Base Hospital Delhi Cantt.
• From 1989 to 1995 worked as a Primary care medical officer, serving as a doctor to Indian Army troops in operational and difficult terrain of J & K and later as Medical Officer at Military Hospital Kirkee, Pune.
Main Activities & Responsibilities : Managed emergencies and accidents in specialties of Surgery, Medicine, Gynecology and Pediatrics Clinical inpatient and outpatient work in above specialties. Teaching of nursing and paramedic staff.
• From 1995 to 1998 did my advanced course /MD in internal medicine form Army Hospital (R&R) New Delhi, Delhi University.
• After completing Post Graduation in Internal Medicine, worked as a Physician/ Medical Specialist form 1998 to 2004 at a Military Hospital in Gangtok, Sikkim, followed by Military Hospital, Amritsar (Punjab).
• From 01 Jan 2005 to 31 Dec 2006 (02 years) did fellowship and Long Term Training (LTT) in clinical Heamaotology and sTem Cell Transplantion at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
• From Dec 2006 to July 2011 (4.5 years) served as Clinical Heamatologist and Bone Marrow transplant specialist at Command Hospital (Southern Command), Pune and Armed forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. Performed duties as HOD of the dept and established new dept in the hospital. Was Associate Professor in the dept of internal medicine, AFMC Pune (5 years).
• From July 2011 to July 2016 worked at the premier hospital of the armed forces, Army Hospital (R&R), New Delhi as Senior Advisor Clinical Heamatology and Bone Marrow Transplantation. Worked as HOD for 1 year. Worked as part of a team of Clinical Heamatologists, Heamatopathologists, Transplant Immunologist, Microbiologists etc who actively and as a cohesive unit participated in treating the most challenging hematological cases, benign as well as malignant and did both Autologous and Allogenic blood and bone marrow transplants.
• From Aug 2016 to date (Feb 2020), ie 3.5 years working as Senior Advisor in Internal Medicine and Clinical Heamatology at Command Hospital, Chandigarh. As the first clinical heamatologist to be posted to this hospital, have established a new Heamatology center in which all hematological disease, benign and malignant are treated both as OPD as well as in patient.
